Ball Packaging Europe is one of the leading beverage can producers in Europe. A wholly-owned subsidiary of  Ball Corporation, an international producer of high quality packaging, Ball Packaging Europe reported turnover of  EUR 1.2 billion in 2009 with 2,600 employees.

Twelve production plants situated in close proximity to clients in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands,  Poland and Serbia ensure that the company has extensive presence both in the traditional core markets of western Europe and also in the significant growth regions of eastern and southern Europe.

In the Technical Centre, the research & development centre in Germany, scientists and engineers work constantly to enhance product features and production processes and to develop innovations to tap new product segments. 

The range of products and services provided by Ball Packaging Europe comprises two-piece beverage cans made of tinplate and aluminum for beer, carbonated soft drinks, mineral water, fruit juices, milk and yoghurt drinks, coffee and alcopops.  

With an annual capacity of some 14 billion units and a market share of around 30 %, Ball Packaging Europe is the number 2 in the European beverage can market.
