		Michael D. Herdman, born on 22nd April 1950 in Chicago, was appointed President of Ball Packaging Europe in January 2008. From 2004 to 2008 he was President of the Metal Beverage Packaging Americas division at Ball Corporation, USA. Prior to joining Ball, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the beverage can division Europe/Asia of Rexam PLC. Michael Herdman has more than 25 years of experience in the international packaging business and has occupied executive positions at various beverage can production facilities both in Asia and Europe.
		Gerrit Heske, born on 3rd December 1964, became Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ball Packaging Europe in January 2008. From 2003, he occupied the position of Vice President Manufacturing, responsible for the manufacturing division of Ball Packaging Europe. The native-born German has been associated with the company since 1993 and has assumed various executive functions since then, like that of head of Quality Assurance/Quality Management and of head of the Research, Development and Engineering division.
		Frank Weekers, born on 27th January 1962, has been Chief Financial Officer at Ball Packaging Europe since February 2004. Effective 1999 he was Vice President Finance and Controlling at Schmalbach-Lubeca AG and following the takeover of the company by Ball Corporation he continued to be responsible for this division in the same function for Ball Packaging Europe. Starting in 1988, the native-born Dutchman exercised various functions in different divisions at Thomassen & Drijver, a subsidiary of Schmalbach-Lubeca, in Belgium and the Netherlands. In 1995 he moved to the corporate headquarters of the parent company in Germany.
