Solutions for Soft Drinks

Snap and fizz – the sparkling freshness of carbonated soft drinks is best preserved in the beverage can.

As these beverages have a high carbon dioxide content, higher pressure is required in the filling process and also a container which prevents carbon dioxide from escaping and oxygen from penetrating the product. The beverage can fulfils these requirements better than any other packaging – the  metal container is absolutely gastight and in addition hermetically sealed by the can end.

For some time now, non carbonated soft drinks, water and juices have also been successfully marketed in cans. Today even premium juices and vitamin-enriched wellness drinks are also candidates for the light-weight convenience packaging because Ball Packaging Europe now offers aseptic filling technology for beverage cans, being the first producer worldwide to do so. The particularly gentle filling process ensures that even sensitive beverages retain their flavour and quality for long periods. The light-impermeable metal provides additional protection for vitamins which are, if required, stored dry and separate in the capsule integrated in the innovative FreshCan.

The 330 ml and 250 ml slimline can provides the optimal "vitamin boost"  in between times. The beverage can therefore offers excellent opportunities in the rapidly growing functional drinks market.
